Inner Peace

Inner peace isn’t about being in the silent, empty, work-ridden place in your mind but to be calm and happy amidst all the commotion, energy and negativity of the world. If you see someone abusing or discriminating someone else and start to tell, say, a friend how rude and offensive that person was, then you your self are judging and being mean to them. To find inner peace is to ignore other people’s anger and hatred and to not let their bitterness be yours as well. There are lots of bad people and bad events which we can’t change, however we can try and help to prevent that happening by being peaceful. I firmly believe if everyone in the world becomes at peace with themselves then they would with everyone else. It’s so hard to not get mixed with other’s bitterness and to change the world, but we can help using our thoughts and how we feel and treat others. And yes, it is hard not to repel and be rude to someone if they just called you, but you can try and avoid them and ignoring them. I know the world is unfair and can be very cruel at times but when you are spending your last moments of life, you’ll realise and think on how much greater your life was because you stayed calm and ignored them. Fighting fire with fire only creates a larger one, so instead fight it with water, in this case being peaceful and not fighting back. Would you want to drop down to their level? After a hard time being calm and peaceful you give in and start to be bitter and so no one would like you or enjoy being with you. So to have inner peace you should try to love and be able to live with yourself without doubting because of comments from others. I know it can be hard for some of us but have faith and you’ll feel glad and happy that you achieved peace.
